Meatgun MAJOR UPDATE: Floor 2!


Hey everyone!

It's been quite a while since MEATGUN first launched, and I'm thankful for everyone who has played and enjoyed the game! I'm happy to announce the first big update to the game, bringing with it not only bug fixes and new items, but also a whole new floor filled with new enemies, new hazards, and even a new boss at the end! In the previous version, the game would loop endlessly through the first floor, but now, after you beat the first boss, you can take the elevator down to a completely new area!

Here are the patch notes:

Changes/Bug Fixes:

  • Lowered Broccoli enemy health from 80 to 75
  • Lowered Tomato enemy damage from 40 to 30
  • Lowered Carolina Reaper damage from 20 to 15
  • Increased spread on enemy shotguns
  • Made AOEs and enemy bullets disappear when a room in cleared
  • Changed shop scaling so that the reroll only increases by $5 every floor
  • Added elevator rooms to the beginning and end of each floor
  • Made the Reload Bar's animation smoother
  • Lowered Sniper Reload Time from 2.8 to 2.5
  • Lowered Shotgun Reload Time from 1.5 to 1.2
  • Increased range on all guns
  • Increased base movement speed
  • Fixed bug where enemies spawned by the first boss were not dying properly

In the future, I plan to add even more content to the game! As of right now, it loops endlessly between the two floors, but my goal is to eventually have five unique floors, with a definitive end to the game. Stay tuned for the next major update!
